Protocol of Reconciliation and Grace through Separation

03/23/20 maryalice Comments (0)

Are you interested in learning more about the Protocol of Reconciliation and Grace through Separation? Click here for Bishop Carcaño’s statement which refers to a UM News article about the agreement and the full text of the protocol. UM News also has FAQs about the protocol.

Please know that this is just a proposal to the 2020 General Conference; no decision has been made. Our job, as Christians, is to worship the Lord faithfully, continue to reach out to those who may be in need, and continue to grow and mature in God’s love. Our work and endeavoring to be God’s disciples will continue, and our church will remain strong with this mission while being open to learning and being ready to face the possible changes in the life of the United Methodist Church.
