Elizabeth (Beth) Taylor is our featured quilter at the show. She will have several of her quilts on display and will be available to answer any questions. She grew up with a family of quilters and at age four was playing under the quilts while her mother, grandmother, and other women were working on the quilts. A t age nine, Beth started to sew her own quilts and is still sewing. Beth states that she still continues to learn about quilting and new techniques every day. Come see her amazing display of a variety of quilts.
The Opportunity Quilt is the Ginger Jars of Life made from a block of the month designed by Maya Madhavan and pieced by members of Faith Circle. Tickets are one for $1, 6 for $5, 15 for $10, and 30 tickets for $20. It only takes one ticket for an opportunity to win this beautiful quilt.
A section of quilts made by children will be on display at the Quilt Show. It is an honor to have some of our youth display their quilts.
A Quilt of Valor presentation will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday during the Quilt Show. Please come to the show to see how these military veterans are honored for their service to our country and presented with a beautiful quilt.
