Our Sunday School’s mission is to help children develop their faith as they grow from childhood into adolescence. We offer Sunday School for preschool through middle school children.
We use the One Room Sunday School curriculum which includes materials that children of various ages can study and learn together. Students will experience God’s love through prayer, activity, and worship each week. Children grow together though comprehensive Bible study, application of Bible lessons to everyday discipleship, and a variety of age-appropriate activities.
The Middle School class will be studying a variety of topical lessons about how to relate to their Christian faith to their daily lives. Some sample topics are being Christian at school, bullying and gossiping, growing spiritually, and talking with God.
The Sunday School children participate in a Children’s Moment during the worship service before they are dismissed to go to their classes. The classes for children in preschool through 5th grade have a music period during the Sunday School hour, and the children sing the songs they learn during worship services. There are special activities in early September on Rally Day (the day when the new Sunday School year begins), at the beginning of the Christmas season, and at Easter.
