Akesa Po’oi Fakava, Pastor

Pastor Akesa comes to Castro Valley United Methodist Church with an extensive background of service in the UMC as an active lay person for over three decades and after almost four decades of service in a corporate career. She comes to pastoral ministry desiring to serve God’s beloved community in gratitude for the deep love of God in her life. Pastor Akesa enjoys spending time with family, going for walks, gardening, and traveling when possible, and being curious. Her greatest desire is to be the content hands and feet of Jesus by extending and sharing Jesus’ inclusive love better today than yesterday.
